Jeto's November 2024 release introduces the ability for marketers and administrators to manage time zones.
Recognizing that marketing teams often span various time zones, this feature allows admins to enable time zones within launchers, and for marketers to specify a time zone in their campaign. The captured time zone can then be leveraged in Marketo tokens \ content or 3rd party system integrations.
Timezone Management
Gone are the days where user had to convert time in UTC to accommodate for 3rd party system integration or Campaign Launch.
With the new Timezone Management feature you get:
Improved Marketers Experience
Time picker has been improved to match common UX standards - using a drop down as opposed to the clock widget;
Marketers can now search and select the timezone associated a time entry.
Flexible Marketo Tokens & Campaign Data
Time, Timezone Name Acronym, and Offset values are passed to Marketo; Tokens and available in Jeto API, making timezone information actionable in content and integrations.
Automated Campaign Launch Compatibility
For those using Jeto Campaign Launch - the activation \ deactivation and scheduling of your Marketo smart campaign will account for timezone offsets from campaign data.
⚠︎ Note that Timezone control is turned off on all existing Launcher\Campaign Form fields, but it will be automatically turned on by default on newly added Time fields.
