Optimal UI

With a sleek and intuitive interface, the menu is always accessible. For efficiency, use common keyboard shortcuts or right-click for quick access to actions.

Productivity Tools

Smart paste & cleanup

An advanced cleanup job is automatically performed when content is copied from word, google docs and / or webpages to remove incompatible code or style elements. In addition, if formatting is detected, Jeto will give the user control to keep or remove formatting.

Word count

The word count feature brings an optimal user experience:

  • Character count and limit is visible at all times, helping users inspect and adjust in real time as content is added.

  • Displayed limit is validated against visible content controlled by user all while still enforcing system limits for HTML code length in the background.

Typography conversion

Automatically converts basic characters like hyphens and quotes into their proper typographic equivalents.

Redo & undo

Lets you easily reverse or reapply recent edits to correct mistakes or restore content.

Tables editing

Provides an intuitive interface to create and modify tables, including resizing and editing cells, rows, and columns. Table properties also allow granular control on table style and responsiveness.

Code view

A dialog window lets you directly view and edit the underlying HTML source code of your content.

Customizing the Editor (Administrator)

Administrators have full control over the editing options and configuration.

Controls can be enforced both at the account level and - for specific use cases - at a more granular field level.

  • Account default: Use this option to apply your account default formatting option to this field. This is the default setting on new fields.

  • Field level: use this option to customize the editing option for each field individually.

Formatting

Determines the formatting options that will be available to your users. Only active options will display in the campaign form.

Text area container tag

Determine is you want to wrap the output inside a <div> element or not.

Paragraph marker elemet

Determine if paragraphs (return\enter keyboard action) will generate a <p> or a <div>.

Smart Copy-Paste

Control if collaborators should have the ability to keep formatting or not during the "paste" action.

Limitations and email compatibility considerations

Font types available in the editor are currently limited to websafe fonts to prevent compatibility issues with your email/landing page templates.

Depending on your Marketo email templates CSS and styling, some elements may introduce a risk of incompatibility with emails. The chart below exposes these elements and related risks.

Please note that if you use the Rich Text editor, the corresponding token in Marketo should also be a rich text token. See this article for token mappings.
