Using "Image" or "File" form element you can add images or files to your campaigns. When an image or file is added, Jeto will store it in your Marketo Design Studio and push the URL of the image or file to the designated Program Token.  Here is how to set it up.

⚠︎ WARNING Files and images are published to your Marketo Design Studio immediately after the upload, therefore becoming publicly accessible. Do NOT use it to upload files that contain any personal data, confidential or sensitive information.

In this article:

1. Add image/file upload field to your Launcher form
2. Configure the "Images & Files" destination folder (optional)
3. Uploading image/file to your campaign
4. Delete/update images and files
5. Adding the image/file to your assets using the URL Token
6. URL naming convention

1. Add image/file upload field to your Launcher form

As an Administrator, start by adding an image or file upload field to your Launcher form.

Set the Field properties. In addition to standard fields properties, you can define:

  • Width (Images)

  • Height (Images)

  • Max Size (Images and Files)
*note: Marketo sets the limit at 10 000KB. Your files cannot exceed that size.

Note: Jeto supports JPEG, PNG .

2. Configure the "Images & Files" destination folder (optional)

By default, Jeto will store all images and files under Design Studio/Images and Files/Jeto. You can chose to specify a different destination folder for each Launcher, under Launcher Settings / Marketo Settings .

3. Uploading image/file to your campaign

In Campaign Forms, image or file upload widgets will display as drop zones. Users can drag/drop the image or click to open the image/file upload widget where the user can chose between drag & drop, browse computer or specify a URL for the file.

Files
Once uploaded, the file type and properties will display. Users can delete and/or replace the file.

Images
The image widget will offer additional options to adjust the image including:

  • Select/Position: use your mouse to drag and select/position a specific zone

  • Crop: set your image to the selected area

  • Resize: use image Width/Height, Drag to resize or Ratio to resize

  • Flip : flip 90° right

Note: If in the Launcher, the Admin set a size requirement, Users will not be able to save the image uploaded if it does not match the required dimensions. Users can crop the image to the right size in order to save.

4. Delete/update images and files
Once uploaded to your form, you can either delete or edit (images only) your file.

5. Adding the image/file to your assets using the URL Token
Once the campaign is submitted, the token will be updated with your image/file URL.

Insert this token in your assets where you would usually put the image/file URL and voilà!

6. URL naming convention
Files and images will be created in your Design Studio using the following naming convention:
"Your Original File Name “-"Jeto"-"<JetocampaignID>"-"<field_key>"."FileExtention”
Ex: “Header-Banner.jpg” => Header-Banner-Jeto-12532-hero-image.jpg

This will avoid any existing image from being over written.
