Jeto works by pushing values collected in the Jeto form to Marketo program tokens. For a successful Jeto implementation, it is important to ensure that you have an understanding of which tokens are required in your Marketo program templates and ensuring that they are properly created in the Jeto launcher.

We strongly recommend using a token workbook, a spreadsheet to capture the required tokens, as well as any specifics regarding those tokens (ie - token name, token type, purpose, expected values, etc). This will help accelerate the launcher creation process as it will cut down on mistakes.

Optionally, once you have completed your token workbook, you can create the tokens in the My Token section in Marketo. However, Jeto will create any missing tokens in Marketo once the launcher is built.

On you have determined which tokens are required, you can now place your tokens in your email assets in Marketo using the {{my.<token name>}} nomenclature. Tokens should be placed in all sections that require values from Jeto be populated.

In the below case, we have included 4 tokens in the Marketo asset, but you can add as many as you need.

Once you have completed tokenizing your email, Approve and Close the draft.
